Original language description
The report contains a design description of the Czech CubeSat Deployer concept which was developed during the CCD project. It is a highly modular CubeSat deployer which provides storage during flight and orbit deployment of CubeSats of many different sizes and configurations. The development of a deployer is very mechanisms intensive. There are three main mechanisms which are the door with locking system, ejection mechanism and tightening rail which helps secure the CubeSats during launch. The main focus is on the door locking mechanism which was designed using a burn-wire which for higher development cost provides a very good trade-off between reliability and recurrent cost of the deployer.
