The data recorded during the long-term monitoring in the catchment play an important role in detecting and evaluating the effects of air pollution and climate changes on natural ecosystems at the background scale. Completely forested catchment is located approximately 1 km from the observatory (area 0.285 km2). Brook springs at 505 m a.s.l. and is 250 m long. Average annual discharge is 0.45 l.s-1 and value of specific runoff is 1.53 l.s-1.km-2 (1990-2015).The total sulphur deposition under the spruce canopy (throughfall) declined from 25.2 kg.ha-1year-1 (average 1990-1995) to 6.4 kg.ha-1year-1 (average 2010-2015). Contrary to the throughfall sulphur deposition, nitrogen throughfall flux did not change and the average of N-NO3 and N-NH4 deposition is 14.2 kg.ha-1year-1 (1990-2015).
