Phytotoxic Ozone Doze (POD) potential inclusion in regular mapping
Original language description
This ETC/ATNI working paper examines the potential inclusion of Phytotoxic Ozone Dose (POD) in regular mapping under the ETC/ATNI. The methodology applied is documented in detail and the input data used are properly described. The map of POD for wheat for 2016 has been prepared. In order to do this, the spatial interpolation data fusion maps have been prepared for all hours of 2016. POD calculation has been performed using the routine earlier developed by INERIS. During the calculation, different biogeographical regions were not considered. The POD map has been constructed at the 0.1° x 0.1° resolution, the final output was transferred into the 2x2 km2 resolution in the EEA layout. It can be concluded that the inclusion of POD in the routine mapping together with other regular maps is feasible. Together with POD for wheat, POD for other species can also be mapped.
