The Second Regional Scientific Forum (RA VI) of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO), held in Prague from 4 to 6 November 2025, focused on strengthening the link between research and operational hydrometeorological services in the context of increasing climate variability and extreme events. Organized by the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute (CHMI), the conference brought together experts from national services, research institutions, and international organizations across Europe. The programme addressed key topics including droughts and heatwaves, hydrological modelling, artificial intelligence applications, and data interoperability. The forum supported knowledge exchange, international collaboration, and the integration of scientific findings into operational practice, thereby contributing to enhanced climate resilience and the development of research and innovation capacities within the WMO community.
