Reversals of precedence in Scolytinae (Coleoptera: Curculionidae): validation
Original language description
Three species, Cryphalus saltuarius Weise, 1891, Hylurgops glabratus (Zetterstedt, 1828) and Hylurgops palliatus (Gyllenhal, 1813) were declared nomina protecta in Knížek (2011) and the acts were supported by 25 references. One of the supporting references, an electronic database, is unavailable for nomenclatural purposes. Reversals of precedence of all three scolytine species are newly declared.
