Vliv výchovy na růst a stabilitu borových porostů. Výsledky experimentu Bědovice 1972 - 1997
Original language description
Pine stands (Pinus silvestris L.) are established with rather high initial densities (10 000 trees per hectare and more). At the same time, reaction of pine as shade intolerant species on thinning is insufficient. An experiment Bedovice was initiated byplanting of local provenance pine seedlings with various spacing in 1962 in order to elucidate if is it possible to decrease the initial density of plants in case of high quality of provenance and what is the effect of lower spacing of high quality pinestand. From the results of the experiment it was concluded that lower spacing and thinning increased the stability of experimental stands of high quality provenance. Especially efficient from the viewpoint of stability were stand with low initial spacing(5000 plants per
