Citlivost luminiscenčních bakterií v závislosti na jejich původu

  • Original language description

Luminiscent bacteria test has a lot of advantages like high level of instrumentation, well functioning system of test bacteria distribution, short exposure time and small sample volume needs, but some experiments indicated one possible disadvantage - bacteria source dependent sensitivity. Article presents first results of study which tries to find the causes of this situation. Toxicity of artificial and natural samples was determined with the use of four types of bacteria, commercially distributed in the Czech Republic. Acquired results give clear evidence of high dependence of bacteria sensitivity on their origin. In the same time it was shown that it is very hard to find simple principles of this dependency and therefore there is an urgent need to continue further experiments into which the tests with freshly prepared bacteria should be included.
