The substance of the poster is the knowledge gained by using the model and pilot research of subsurface filters with vertical flow both upwards and downwards . The research work was carried out in laboratory filter tubes and in pilot subsurface filters.Particular knowledge and comparison of single arrangements will be supplemented in the poster by a fundamental photographic documentation and illustrated by a number of graphs. The conclusion includes the recommendations for the concrete application of the results in practice in the design of subsurface filters and their operation.
