The article summarizes the results of several years research into PCB contaminated sites in the Czech Republic. The results of registering contaminated sites in the Czech Republic are discussed. Detailed research into PCB contamination has been conductedat five highly contaminated localities. The results indicate that some of the PCB contaminated sites will still be contaminated after 2010.
