Original language description

Leuctra digitata is a widely spreading species of stonefly that is native to Europe. Thus far, there have been no reports identifying the precise location of this species in the Moravskoslezské Beskydy Mts. The location of this taxon has been identifiedby images from 10 distinct locations during searches that took place in the Moravskoslezské Beskydy Mts. and in the Podbeskydská pahorkatina Upland region since 2003. This report shows these findings and discusses the requirements of basic physico-geographic parameters of the biotope that are suitable for the establishment of this species.
