Can leukocyte telomere length predict survival time in heart transplant recipients over a minimal follow-up of 20 years?
Original language description
TL in leukocyte DNA in 127 samples of heart recipients followed for at least 20 years was analysed. Patients with CAD survived for a shorter time and had shorter LTL (P < 0.05) than subjects with dilated cardiomyopathy. LTL was not associated with general survival time in patients after heart transplantation.
