F-19 magnetic resonance imaging of injectable polymeric implants with multiresponsive behavior
Original language description
The results of the study indicate that these thermoresponsive fluorinated polymers can be effectively utilized for injectable solid implants, and that they can be efficiently visualized by 19F MRI technique. We provide here for the first time a proof-of-concept for a system that combines direct MR imaging of an injectable implant with a wide range of potential biological applications. The sufficient MRI sensitivity and slow degradation in animals suggest its theranostic potential, which may offer unprecedented progress in the field of next generation MRI-contrast agents.
