Twenty species-group names were created for Rock Nuthatches of the Sitta neumayer species-group in 1790?1950. Their applicability is discussed, their type specimens are identified, and their type localities are specified. Lectotypes were designed for three nominal species, incl. Sitta obscura Zarudnyj & Loudon, 1905, Sitta dresseri Zarudnyj & Buturlin, 1906, and Sitta zarudnyi Buturlin, 1907.

Czech description
Pro skalní brhlíky z druhového komplexu Stta neumayer bylo v letech 1790-1950 vytvořeno 20 jmen úrovně druhu. Byla zjištěna jejich použitelnost z hlediska nomenklatury, byly identifikovány jejich typové exempláře a byly upřesněny jejich typové lokality.Lektotypy byly stanoveny pro tyto tři nominální druhy: Sitta obscura Zarudnyj & Loudon, 1905, Sitta dresseri Zarudnyj & Buturlin, 1906 a Sitta zarudnyi Buturlin, 1907.
