PRMdata is an online database of selected parts of the collection kept in the Mycological Department, National Museum, Prague (fungarium PRM). This collection has existed since the foundation of the museum in 1818. It currently contains over 600,000 vouchers of fungi and lichens mainly from the former Czechoslovakia and Central Europe, but also from all other parts of the world. Detailed information about the collection and its curators can be found on the Index Herbariorum page and the National Museum website. The database Recent collections contains specimens obtained since 2012, when complete database registration began. Some older collections of museum curators since 1998 have also been added. Collections since 2018 are not included so that their authors have a sufficient protection period for detailed processing and publication. The most important data from the labels of the voucher specimens are displayed exactly as they were supplied by the individual collectors, including any errors. Some detailed information is not displayed (e.g. geographical coordinates). It can be provided upon request for serious research projects.
