Do human papillomaviruses infect proximal part of the male genital tract?
Original language description
HPV are often detected in different anatomical localizations of the male urogenital tract. Recently we found HPV in the epididymis. This finding was confirmed in a retrospective study involving a larger number of samples. The data shows an extensive heterogeneity of HPV types and a quite frequent presence of HPV in the proximal part of the male urogenital tract.
