UBF expression and ribosomal synthesis in PHA stimulated lymphocytes treated with n-butyric acid.

  • Original language description

In cells entering the growth-division cycle an increase of cellular content of nucleolar protein UBF parallels the increasing amount of DNA generated by replication. However, within 48 hours following the mitogenic signal, the synthesis of rRNA as well as synthesis of the UBF enhancer is independent of the amount of rDNA copies. Another regulatory mechanism, more likely a process comprising the early phosphorylation of UBF, upregulates the synthesis of rRNA.

  • Czech name

Exprese proteinu UBF a ribosomální syntéza v PHA stimulovaných lymfocytech za působení činidla n-butyric acid.

  • Czech description

Při vstupu klidových buněk do cyklu růst hladiny nukleolárního proteinu UBF kopíruje replikaci DNA avšak není na ní, v prvních 48 hodinách po indukci mitogenního signálu, přímo závislý. Růst rychlosti syntézy ribozomální RNA je tedy podporován jinak nežzmnožováním kopií rDNA. Pravděpodobný mechanizmus zahrnuje časnou aktivační fosforylaci enhanceru UBF.
