Fast apoptosis and erythroid differentiation induced by Imatinib mesylate in JURL-MK1 cells.
Original language description
The effects of Imatinib mesylate on CML cell lines K562 and JURL-MK1 were compared. Imatinib mesylate arrested both cell lines in G0/G1 phase and induced apoptosis that proceeded faster in JURL-MK1 and occurred in larger fraction of cell population. In addition, the erythroid differentiation was triggered in both cell lines.
Czech name
Rychlá apoptóza a erytroidní diferenciace indukovaná Imatinib mesylátem v buňkách K562.
Czech description
Byly porovnány účinky Imatinib mesylátu na CML buněčné linie K562 a JURL-MK1. U obou linií došlo k zastavení buněčného cyklu v G0/G1 fázi a byla indukována apoptoza jež u buněk JURL-MK1 probíhala rychleji a u větší části buněčné populace. Dále byla u obou linií navozena erytroidní diferenciace.
