Increasing temperature decreses aluminum concentrations in Central European lakes recovering from acidification
Original language description
The study of climate warming effect on Al concentrations in four lakes in the Bohemian Forest over period 1984 to 2001. residuals from the linear relationship between Al concentrations and the sum of strong acid anions were inversely correlated wit air temperature and the North Atlantic Oscillation index. An increase in the annual air temperature of 1.27 oC explained 13 % of the Al decrease.
