Original language description
A faunal record of chironomid remains was analyzed in the upper 280 cm of 543 cm long sediment core from Plešné lake. Two changes were recorded in the relatively stable Holocene chironomid composition - at beginning of the Holocene and during the interval 1540-1771 AD. This changes could be explained by climatic changes and by increasing afforestation.

Czech description
Zbytky chironomid byly analyzovány ve vrchních 280 cm sedimentárního profilu z Plešného jezera o délce 543 cm. Dvě změny byly zaznamenány v relativně stabilním holocenním složení - na začátku holocenu a v letech 1540-1771. Tyto změny mohou souvicet se změnami klimatu a intenzivním odlesňování
