Original language description
The first version of the CGS map server (based on ArcIMS technology) was brought into operation in 2003 and, since then, the number of available map applications and services has been steadily increasing. Since 2012, Czech Geological Survey has been publishing new map services through ArcGIS Server, and developing map applications with ArcGIS Viewer for Flex and for Silverlight, which are now becoming widely used by the broad public.
