    A zoisite-rich rock associated mainly with ultabasic rocks occurs NE of Kunštát in the Letovice Complex. The zoisite-rich rock shows textures and geochemical features typical for metagabbros. Mineralogical composition and geochemical signature related toits cumulate origin was subsequently modified by extensive hydrothermal activites. The pre-Variscan metasomatic processes led to complete replacement of primary magmatic grains of calcic plagioclase by zoisite. The following Variscan stages of evolutionof the continental crust resulted in amphibolite facies metamorphism and incorporation of originally oceanic crust into the current position
