Lysina streamwater exhibited steep decline of sulfate concentations, slightly increasing alkalinity and very high inorganic momomeric aluminum concentrations above toxic level for fish and benthic macroinvertebrates. Recent concentrations of total mercury in streamwater were elevated with mean 8 ng/l.
