Members were informed about the most important events: GSEU WP7 Startup Meeting on 27-28 September 2022, GSEU Project Kick-Off Meeting on 29-30 September 2022 and 50th EGS Anniversary Event on 26-27 October 2022. SIEG was presented in all events. New EGS web https://eurogeosurveys.org/ was launched. At the same time, new upgraded EGDI web https://www.europe-geology.eu/ was also made publicly available. Work on WP7 of GSEU project already started, having a kick-off meeting in September. 11 working groups were created for the first sprint to clarify specific topics. Regarding multilinguality in EGDI, it was agreed by many to translate web pages to national languages to attract national users and hopefully help to get their support. Web pages will be translated in Spanish, Czech, German, Slovenian, Danish, maybe more in the future. Recently a Newsletter has been sent out, planned every cca 6 months. (subscribtion possible at https://www.europe-geology.eu/newsletter/ ). The main progress in EPOS was a signature of the Memorandum of Understanding between EPOS ERIC and EuroGeoSurveys on 13 July 2022, that gives a legal background to the cooperation. Cooperation with the Association of Iberoamerican Geological and Mining Surveys (ASGMI) resulted in participation of EGDI representatives at meeting in Chile - EU-Latin America conference on Raw material initiative and Technical meeting. The mission was organized by DG GROW, EGDI was presented as inspiration for the future possible cooperation.
