The effect of homoeologous group 5 chromosomes with different vrn loci on growth phases and quantitative characters of wheat.
Original language description
The effect of homoeologous group 5 chromosomes on growth phase and agronomical traits was detected using reciprocal substitution lines forthose chromosomes between two winter wheat cultivars with higher (´Mironovskaya´) and lower (´Bezostaya´) vernalisation requirement due to supposed presence of multiple alleles vrn, located on substituted chromosomes. The results showed probeble pleiotropis effect of the loci vrn. The effect of the homoeologous group 5 chromosomes was significant on almost all of theobserved characters. The order of their effects on the overall characters was 5D - 5B - 5A and positive value of the difference showed more advantageous constitution of ´Mironovskaya 808´ chromosomes.
