Original language description

An isolate of Grapevine virus A (GVA) from the Czech Republic was obtained from the grapevine cultivar Müller Thurgau. Symptoms of GVA ? Kober stem grooving disease were not observed in the infected grapevines, although they had been grafted onto Kober 5BB rootstock, which is commonly used as an indicator for this disease. A partial genomic sequence of the GVA isolate, 1523 nucleotides long, was obtained, covering the genes for a movement and a coat protein.

Czech description

Z odrůdy révy vinné Müller Thurgau byl získán izolát A viru révy vinné (Grapevine virus A - GVA). Na infikovaných rostlinách nebyly pozorovány příznaky choroby zvané žlábkovitost kmene Koberu (Kober stem grooving), ačkoliv jsou naštěpovány na podnož Kober 5BB, která se používá jako indikátor této choroby. U tohoto izolátu GVA byla získána částečná sekvence jeho genomu délky 1523 nukleotidů, zahrnující geny pro transportní a obalový protein.
