Pěstování ozdobnice (Miscanthus x giganteus) určené pro energetické využití

  • Original language description

In the period 2001-2011 the field experiments with Miscanthus x giganteus were performed at two different sites with three levels of nitrogen fertilization (0, 50, 100 kg.ha-1.year-1) and two terms of harvest (in autumn and in spring). The effect of nitrogen fertilization and site conditions on above ground biomass production was determined. For overall evaluation the influence of the harvest terms on water content in harvested material, on losses of phytomass during the winter period and on the contentof main nutrients in plants was determined. Other evaluated parameters were number of stems and plant length. The average yield of dry matter of Miscanthus over monitored period was 21.02 t.ha-1 at Ruzyně and 17.81 t.ha-1 at Lukavec. The average loss ofphytomass of Miscanthus during winter period was 33.6 %. Used dose of nitrogen (100 kg.ha-1) increased yield about 2.67 t.ha-1 (12.8 %) in average as compared to non fertilized plots.
