The distribution of mineral nitrogen and water in top and subsoil under wheat and oilseed rape in the long-term experiments
Original language description
Mineral nitrogen content (Nmin) and soil moisture was determined in winter wheat and oilseed rape in long-term experiments at four sites with different soil-climate conditions. The Nmin content was mostly higher in MIN treatments, especially in year 2015. Similar Nmin contents were found in ORG and N0 variants. Roots of wheat apparently depleted available water and mineral N from deep subsoil layers that reduces the risk of nitrate leaching from root zone.
