Molecular analysis of resistence genes to leaf rust in winter wheat cultivars registered in the Czech Republic
Original language description
Presence of leaf rust resistance genes Lr10, Lr24, Lr26, Lr28, Lr34 and Lr37 was tested in 67 winter wheat cultivars registered in the Czech Republic by means of published molecular markers. In the majority of the tested cultivars the gene Lr37 was found (23 cultivars), followed by Lr10 (14 cultivars), Lr26 (5 cultivars) and Lr34 (4 cultivars). Resistance gene Lr24 was present only in one cultivar (Carroll) and the gene Lr28 was not found in any tested variety.
