The relationship between dehydrin accumulation and winter survival of winter wheat and barley
Original language description
In controlled conditions, a significant correlation between dehydrin protein or transcript relative accumulation and plant acquired frost tolerance (determined as LT50) was found. Moreover, a correlation between wheat WCS120 and barley DHN5 dehydrin proteins and wheat WDHN13 transcript accumulated in plants grown under field in autumn and their winter survival were found.
