The effects of dietary supplementation of selenium in an organic form on performance, carcass traits and selenium contents in tissues of broiler cockerels randomly divided into 3 groups: group I. (control), without Se supplement; experimental groups: II.? 0.3 mg Se/kg (Se-enriched yeast), III. ? 0.3 mg Se/kg (Se-enriched alga Chlorella), were studied. Significantly higher live weights of broiler chickens were recorded in the experimental groups (II ? 2 430.6 g and III ? 2 425.2 g). There were no significant differences between the groups in feed conversion, carcass traits, dressing percentage and mortality. Vliv přídavku selenu na užitkovost a kvalitu masa brojlerových kuřat

Czech description

Byl studován vliv přídavku organické formy selenu do krmné směsi na užitkovost, jatečné hodnocení a obsah Se ve tkáních brojlerových kohoutků rozdělených do 3 skupin : I. (kontrola) bez přídavku Se; pokusné skupiny : II. ? 0,3 mg Se/kg, (Se-obohacené kvasnice); III. ? 0,3 mg Se/ kg (Se-obohacená řasa Chlorella). Průkazně vyšší živá hmotnost byla zjištěna u kuřat pokusných skupin (II - 2430,6 g a III ? 2425,2 g). Rozdíly v konverzi krmiva, úhynu, jatečném hodnocení a jatečné výtěžnosti nebyly významné. Obsah Se v prsním a stehenním svalstvu, játrech, peří a v trusu se byl u obou pokusných skupin vyšší. Porovnáním pokusných skupin mezi sebou byl zjištěn vyšší obsah Se v prsním a stehenním svalstvu a v peří u skupiny II, zatímco obsah Se v trusu byl vyššíu skupiny III. Přídavek Se ze Se-kvasnic i řasy Chlorelly v dietě tedy zvýšil koncentraci tohoto mikroprvku ve svalstvu kuřat.
