Original language description
It was concluded that the administration of toyocerin and colistin to piglets caused an increase in feed consumption. However, the parallel administration of colistin did provide a selective advantage Bacillus cereus var. toyoi strain, which was then excreted regularly in excrements. The occurrence of haemolytic strains of Escherichia coli in the experimental group was only sporadic compared with the controls.

Czech description
Současné podávání toyocerinu a kolistinu selatům způsobilo zvýšený příjem krmiva. Podávání kolistinu poskytlo však selektivní výhodu kmenu Bacillus cereus var. toyoi, který byl posléze pravidelně vylučován exkrementy. Výskyt hemolytických kmenů Escherichia coli v pokusné skupině byl v porovnání s kontrolní skupinou jen sporadický.
