Original language description

The effect of weaning age on growth, feed consumption, digestibility of nutrients, carcass yield, mortality and parasite incidence was studied in a balance experiment. Most results of performance were not significantly affected by weaning age. Higher digestibility of nutrients was recorded in the collection period from 56 to 63 days of age. In the collection period from 42 to 49 days, the digestibility of nutrients was higher in rabbits weaned at 25 days of age in comparison with the other groups. No differences between groups in the digestibility of nutrients were observed in the second period. The age of weaning did not influence carcass characteristics. There was no significant effect of weaning age on mortality. The incidence of Eimeria ssp. was the highest after weaning in rabbits at the age of 35 days.

Vliv věku při odstavu na užitkovost a stravitelnost živin u brojlerových králíků

Czech description

V bilančním pokusu byl studován vliv věku při odstavu na růst, spotřebu krmiva, stravitelnost živin, jatečnou výtěžnost, mortalitu a incidenci parazitů. Většina výsledků užitkovosti nebyla průkazně ovlivněna věkem při odstavu. Vyšší stravitelnost živin byla zaznamenána ve druhém období sběru dat (56 ? 63 dní věku). V prvním období (42 ? 49 dní věku) byla stravitelnost živin v porovnání s ostatními skupinami vyšší u králíků odstavených ve 25 dnech věku. Ve druhém období nebyly mezi skupinami zjištěny žádné rozdíly ve stravitelnosti živin. Věk při odstavu neovlivňoval jatečné ukazatele. Vliv věku při odstavu na mortalitu byl neprůkazný. Incidence parazita Eimeria ssp. byla nejvyšší po odstavu králíků ve věku 35 dní.
