Admixture and recent migration in three Czech draught horse breeds as revealed by microsatellites
Original language description
This study presents a valuable insight into the genetic structure and diversity of three Czech draught horse breeds: Silesian Noriker (genetic resource), Noriker and Czech-Moravian Belgian (genetic resource), using 13 microsatellite markers. All microsatellite markers were highly polymorphic in all breeds. A total of 104 alleles in 13 microsatellite loci were detected in 777 horses.
