Molecular identification and genotyping of porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus (PRRSV) strains isolated in the Czech Republic.
Original language description
Sequence analysis revealed that all the Czech isolates and one of the Slovak isolates belong to the European type of PRRS viruses. The PRRSV isolates VOŠ2878 from Slovakia fell into the group of American isolates and was more related to the Canadian isolate IAF-exp91. Variability was observed among the Czech isolates within the group representing the European strains.
