Original language description
[(OC-6-43)-bis(acetato)(1 -adamantylamine)amminedichloroplatinum(IV)], coded as LA- 12, is an octahedral platinum(IV) complex containing a bulky hydrophobic ligand - adamantylamine. The use of bulky hydrophobic amines as non-leaving ligands, may increaseuptake of the compound by the cancer cells. LA- 12 was found to be significantly more efficient than cisplatin, and it was able to overcome the acquired cisplatin resistance in A2780 cancer cell line.

Vysoká účinnost platinového komplexu (IV) s adamantylaminem při překonání resistence k cisplatine a potlačení proliferace ovariálních nádorových buněk in vitro
Czech description
[(OC-6-43)-bis(acetato)(1 -adamantylamin)amindichloroplatinum(IV)], s kódovým označením LA- 12, je oktahedrální komplex platiny (IV) obsahující objemný hydrofobní ligand - adamantylamin. Použití tohoto objemného hydrofobního aminu jako neodstupujícíholigandu může zvyšovat příjem této látky nádorovými buňkami. Prokázali jsme, že látka LA- 12 je daleko účinnější než cisplatina a je schopna překonat získanou rezistenci k cisplatině u nádorové linie A2780.
