The paper investigates the impacts of modulation and degressive reduction of direct payments on the Czech agriculture at sector and regional level. At sector level European Commission?s two proposals are analysed; the reduction in payments under both scenarios would achieve around 20 % of direct payments and would affect more than 90 % of all utilized agricultural area (UAA). The regional analysis further revealed that that reduction would affect less those regions which are prone to be environmental sensitive. Yet, regions classified as predominantly rural would be impacted more by the measures explored.

Czech description

Příspěvek zkoumá dopady modulace a degresivní redukce přímých plateb na české zemědělství na sektorové a regionální úrovni. Na sektorové úrovni jsou analyzovány dva návrhy Evropské komise. Redukce přímých plateb se v obou případech dotkne přibližně 20 %přímých plateb a mohla by ovlivnit více než 90 % veškeré obhospodařované zemědělské půdy. Analýza na úrovni regionů odhaluje, že redukce by mohla ovlivnit méně ty regiony, které jsou environmentálně náchylnější. Navíc ty regiony, které jsou klasifikoványjako převážně venkovské by mohly být ovlivněny těmito opatřeními ve větším rozsahu.
