    Detection of Vocal Cords in Endoscopic Images Based on YOLO Network

  • Original language description

    This article presents an application of the YOLOv5 object detection algorithm to detect vocal folds in laryngoscopic videos without any additional image enhancement. Accuracy in the form of mean average precision, precision, and recall of architectures are evaluated and compared. Results suggest that the YOLO detection algorithm could be used to locate the region of vocal folds for a further objective evaluation that could potentially be implemented in clinical practice.
