Original language description
Hsa-mir-125b-2 is highly expressed in childhood ETV6/RUNX1 (TEL/AML1) leukemias, independently on the ETV6/RUNX1 fusion gene. Hsa-mir-125b-2 confers survival advantage to leukemic cells in the presence of growth inhibitory signals independently of p53 the level of which is not influenced by hsa-mir-125b-2.
