The Glass of Great Moravia: Vessel and Window Glass, and Small Objects.
Original language description
This study is focused on neglected Vessel glass, flat glass, and small grass objects from the period of Great Moravia Empire. At present, such objects are known from five most important localities in Moravia: Uherské Hradiště-Sady, Mikulčice, Břeclav-Pohansko, Olomouc and Pohansko by Nejdek, and Bojná from Slovakia. It may be assumed that this distribution is not final: such glass evidently penetrated the social elite to a much larger extent than has previously been supposed. This study collects our knowledge about all today known glass objects from studied period.
