Establishing of the T90/T scale above 961 °C at CMI
Original language description
The result is a conference poster presented at TEMPMEKO 2025, focused on the development of the thermodynamic temperature scale above 961 °C at CMI. The work includes the implementation of size-of-source effect (SSE) corrections for different cavity diameters, supporting both ITS-90 realization and thermodynamic temperature determination by relative methods. Further activities involved the design and preparation of a setup for testing the linearity of radiation thermometers and the acquisition of protective carbon-based materials to ensure safe handling and operation of high-temperature fixed points. The presented results contribute to the development of the national standard of thermodynamic temperature above 1000 °C and support the long-term objective of its realization in accordance with the redefined kelvin.
