The article evaluates acute and late toxicity of intensity-modulated radiotherapy using simultaneous integrated boost with dose of 66 gy in six weeks with and without concomitant chemotherapy in 48 patients with head and neck cancer. In terms of toxicityprofilesthis regimen can be an alternative of 70 Gy in 7 weeks normofractionally.

Článek vyhodnocuje akutní a pozdní toxicitu radioterapie s modulovanou intenzitou a simultánním integrovaným boostem s dávkou 66 Gy v 6 týdnech s abez konkomitantní chemoterapie u 48 pacientů s karcinomy hlavy a krku. Z hlediska toxicity lze tento režimpovažovat za alternativu 70 Gy v 7 týdnech normofrakcionačně.
