The letter refers to manuscript “Mean platelet volume and platelet count: overlooked markers of high on-treatment platelet reactivity and worse outcome in patients with acute coronary syndrome”. Regarding areaders' request author presents hisopinion on optimal technique of aggregometry examination. Moreover, data about association with some additional cardiovascular risk factors and comorbidities are presented. According to these data the bias of mean platelet volume assessment questioned by a reader is minimal.
