Original language description
Biochemical lipid parameters in 43 patients with familial defective apo B-100 (FDB) and 48 patients with familial hypercholesterolemia (FH), all with proved mutation in the apo B, resp. LDL receptor gene, were compared. Significantly lower concentrationsof total and LDL cholesterol in the group of FDB patients in comparison with FH subjects were found.
