Original language description
We studied the efect of adjuvant arthritis on the endocrine circadian rhythms in male Long Evans rats. We found that arthritis interferes with circadian rhythms of prolactin, its mRNA, IGF-1, luteinizing hormone and testosterone, but not melatonin whichsuggesting that the disturbance does not not at the pineal gland level.
