Oligodendroglioma Originating in Mature Cystic Teratoma
Original language description
Oligodendrogliomas arising in teratomas are very rare. To our knowledge only eleven cases have been described (Zannoni et al., 2002; Caltabiano and Lanzafame, 2008; Opris et al., 2009; Bay et al., 2010; Din et al., 2012; Ünal et al., 2014). Biological characteristics and guidelines for clinical management are practically unknown due to this rarity. We describe a case report and a review of other cases.
