Reply: Salivary Gland Secretory Carcinoma: Clinicopathologic and Genetic Characteristics of 215 Cases and Proposal for a Grading System
Original language description
A morphology-based grading system was recently proposed based on analyzing the clinicopathological and molecular profile of 215 cases of salivary gland secretory carcinoma (SC) to categorize the tumors into a 3-tiered grading system. Statistical validation highlighted the impact of tumor grade, stage, and TNM status on overall survival and disease-free survival rates, which can help clinicians assess the severity and progression of salivary SC cases.
