The objective was to analyse direct medical costs of managing mycosis fungoides (MF). We conducted a retrospective observational study in five Italian specialized departments. The 58 patients enrolled had a confirmed diagnosis of MF stage IIB or worse in1999. The mean cost per patient was Euro 9,231.40.

Czech description

Cílem této práce bylo analyzovat přímé zdravotnické náklady na léčbu mycosis fungoides (MF). Provedli jsme retrospektivní observační studii u pěti italských specializovaných oddělení. Studie se zabývala 58 pacienty s potvrzenou diagnózou MF ve stádiu IIBči horším v roce 1999. Průměrné náklady na jednoho pacienta byly 9 231,40 euro.
