In this study, the potential cardioprotective properties of novel lipophilic aroylhydrazone chelators (pyridoxal 2-chlorobenzoyl hydrazone, salicylaldehyde isonicotinoyl hydrazone) as well as dexrazoxane (model cardioprotectant) and deferiprone (novel clinically used iron chelator) were studied on the rabbit model of chronic anthracycline cardiotoxicity.

V této studii byly studovány potenciální kardioprotektivní vlastnosti nových lipofilních aroylhydrazonových chelátorů (pyridoxal 2-chlorbenzoyl hydrazonu, salicylaldehyd isonikotinoyl hydrazonu), stejně tak dexrazoxanu (modelového kardioprotektiva) a deferipronu (nového klinicky užívaného chelátoru železa) na modelu chronické antracyklinové kardiotoxicity u králíka.
