P-glycoprotein function and expression during obstructive cholestasis in rats
Original language description
The study is aimed at evaluation of in vivo biliary and renal excretion of rhodamine 123 (Rho123), a P-glycoprotein substrate, in rats during either acute or chronic cholestasis induced by bile duct obstruction. The employed methods involve both in vivodetermination of pharmacokinetic parameters of Rho123 after experimentally induced cholestasis, and following expression studies (quantitative immunohistochemistry and Western blot).

Czech description
Studie je zaměřena na in vivo hodnocení biliární a renální exkrece rhodaminu 123 (Rho123), substrátu P-glykoproteinu u potkanů během akutní a chronické cholestázy navozené obstrukcí žlučovodu. Použité metodiky zahrnují in vivo sledování farmakokinetických parametrů Rho123 a následné analýzy exprese P-glykoproteinu (kvantitativní imunohistochemie a Western blot).
