This article shows the effect of ter-butyl hydroperoxide (t-BHP) on respiration of isolated liver mitochondria, in the presence of various energetic substrates. The results show higher resistance of succinate oxidation to peroxidative damage in comparison with oxidation of NADH-dependent substrates.
